IB DP (Diploma Programme)

The IBDP focus on teaching students to think critically and independently, how to inquire with care and logic. The IBDP prepares students to succeed in a world where facts and fiction merge. The curriculum contains six subject groups and the three IBDP core. Through the IBDP core, students reflect on the nature of knowledge, complete independent research and undertake a project that often involves community service.

What is IBDP?

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a rigorous two-year pre-university programme for students aged 16–19. It provides a well-balanced curriculum that encourages academic excellence, critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and personal growth. The IBDP is recognized by leading universities worldwide as a strong preparation for higher education.

Assessment in IBDP

Assessment in the IBDP is conducted through a combination of internal and external evaluations. Internal assessments include coursework, projects, and oral presentations that are marked by teachers and moderated by the IB. External assessments consist primarily of written examinations that are marked by international examiners. This comprehensive approach ensures reliability, fairness, and global recognition of student achievement.
