Curriculum
As a school, we believe that we need to prepare students for an unknown future by nurturing their relationship with an unchanging God. One of our main goals as a school is to equip students with the character, skills, and concepts that they need to succeed in this rapidly changing world. This can be achieved through the PYP (Primary Years Programme) curriculum, which is an integral part of learning at Cita Hati.
What is PYP?
There are 6 transdisciplinary themes each year, based on a central concept that serves as a tool to explore, reflect on, and solve problems in everyday life.
Learning doesn’t stop at gaining knowledge alone but also focuses on developing inquiry (curiosity), thinking skills, research, communication, social, and self-management skills.
Every child has a voice, choice, and ownership over their own learning.
Assessment in PYP
Assessment is carried out regularly to collect, analyze, and review evidence of student learning in order to inform teaching.
