PYP

In today's rapidly changing world, parents often ask an important question: What kind of education will best prepare my child for the future while helping them grow in character and faith?

At Cita Hati, Primary Years Programme (PYP)  creates a learning experience that develops not only knowledgeable but also compassionate, principled, and Christ-centered students. It is a framework that encourages children to become active participants in their own learning. Rather than simply memorizing information, students are encouraged to ask questions, investigate ideas, solve problems, and make meaningful connections with the world around them.

We believe that every child is created in God's image and has unique gifts and purposes. As students inquire about the world, they are also encouraged to see God's hand in creation and understand their responsibility to care for others and the environment. Learning in the PYP does not end with understanding; it leads to action. Students are encouraged to apply what they learn in meaningful ways—helping others, caring for the environment, solving problems, and contributing to their communities.

Students also learn to appreciate different cultures, perspectives, and experiences. They develop empathy, respect, and understanding, preparing them to engage thoughtfully in an interconnected world

Cita Hati Christian School East and West campuses were authorized to start the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme at the start of 2026 which has truly been a great blessing for the Cita Hati community. As we aim to develop responsible global citizens and empower future leaders in the form of our students, the MYP programme encompasses the use of  inquiry-based learning and conceptual understanding incorporating service as action. Our middle years teaching teams have also undergone general and subject specific workshops for effective implementation of the MYP programme in Cita Hati ensuring that we follow through our vision on holistic education centered on Biblical worldview.

Preparing Future- Ready Learners through the IB Diploma Programme

At Cita Hati School, we believe that education goes beyond academic achievement. It is about developing knowledgeable, compassionate, and principled learners who are ready to make a positive impact in an ever-changing world. This vision aligns closely with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

According to the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), the Diploma Programme aims to develop students who "have excellent breadth and depth of knowledge and flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally, and ethically" (IBO, 2025). Through inquiry, critical thinking, and reflection, our students are prepared not only for university but also for lifelong learning.

As we continue our IB journey, Cita Hati School remains committed to nurturing learners with strong character, leadership, and a heart to serve. Together, we are building a generation that is ready to contribute confidently and responsibly to both local and global communities.

The continuum

The strength of the IB continuum is not only in academic rigor, but in its intentional development of learners who can think critically, communicate effectively, adapt to change, and act responsibly in an increasingly complex and interconnected world.
