{"id":375,"date":"2026-10-12T10:55:38","date_gmt":"2026-10-12T03:55:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bchati.sch.id\/heartnews\/?p=375"},"modified":"2026-10-12T10:55:38","modified_gmt":"2026-10-12T03:55:38","slug":"student-council-junior-scj-growing-young-leaders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bchati.sch.id\/heartnews\/student-council-junior-scj-growing-young-leaders\/","title":{"rendered":"Student Council Junior (SCJ) : Growing Young Leaders"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are excited to introduce our <strong>Student Council Junior (SCJ)<\/strong>, a special opportunity for students to develop their leadership skills, take responsibility, and play an active role in building a positive school community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through various activities and projects, SCJ encourages students to express their ideas, listen to different perspectives, work together, and turn their thoughts into action. Along the way, they discover that leadership is not simply about being in charge. It is also about serving others, showing care, working collaboratively, and having the courage to make a meaningful difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our SCJ journey began with a combination of written and verbal interviews conducted by the school leadership team. The process allowed students to introduce themselves, share their perspectives, and express their hopes for our school community. Through the interviews, we discovered that those who applied had a genuine desire to play an active role in making our school a better place. Many wanted to support their peers, create a more welcoming environment, and serve as positive role models. They also brought forward creative initiatives that could make school life more meaningful and enjoyable. Their responses reflected a strong willingness to take responsibility, serve others, and contribute to the school community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the SCJ members were selected, they were officially inaugurated on <strong>18 August 2026<\/strong>, in front of the entire student body. This special moment marked the beginning of their role as young leaders, ready to embrace their responsibilities and put their creativity into action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As they take on this new role, we hope they will become students who are confident to speak, willing to listen, ready to serve, and courageous enough to take action. More importantly, we hope this experience will help them understand that leadership begins with a willingness to care and make a difference, no matter how small.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>\u201cLeadership begins when we choose to make a difference.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We look forward to seeing our SCJ members learn through experience, grow in confidence, and inspire others throughout the school year!
